These terms apply to all bookings made with Velocity Move Logistics in person, by phone, WhatsApp or through our customer portal. By booking a shipment you agree to these terms.
1. Our role
VML is an independent logistics agent. We book shipments with third-party courier, airline, shipping-line and road carriers. The terms and liability limits of the carrier that transports your shipment also apply.
2. Acceptance of shipments
All bookings are subject to carrier acceptance, destination rules, payment and correct documentation. We may refuse or hold any shipment that is incorrectly declared, poorly packed or contains prohibited or restricted items.
3. Your responsibilities
- Provide complete and accurate shipper and receiver details.
- Describe the contents truthfully and declare the correct value.
- Provide a valid CNIC/NTN and any documents required for export or import.
- Pack goods suitably for international transport.
- Pay all charges, including any additional charges confirmed after re-weighing.
4. Rates and weights
Quotes are based on the information you provide. Charges are calculated on chargeable weight (the greater of actual and volumetric weight). If the carrier's measured weight or size differs, the rate may change. Remote-area, fuel and other surcharges may apply.
5. Duties and taxes
Unless booked as duty paid, import duties, taxes and clearance fees at the destination are payable by the receiver. If the receiver refuses to pay, return or disposal charges are payable by the shipper.
6. Transit times
Transit times are estimates and not guaranteed. Delays may result from customs, weather, carrier operations, incomplete addresses or events outside our control.
7. Liability and insurance
Liability for loss or damage is limited to the liability accepted by the carrier under its terms, unless additional insurance has been purchased in writing. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. See our claims and refunds policy.
8. Customer portal
Portal accounts are approved at our discretion. You are responsible for keeping your password secure. Booking requests submitted online are confirmed only after approval by our team and issue of an AWB number.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Disputes are subject to the courts of Lahore.
