Sending parcels to Canada
Canada has a large and growing Pakistani community in Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Calgary and Vancouver. We ship family parcels, students' documents and business orders to every province.
Express parcels usually reach Canada in four to six working days. The long distance means good packing matters, and the Canadian postal code format must be exactly right for smooth delivery.
Customs, duty and taxes in Canada
Canada charges sales tax and, for some goods, duty on imports above a small allowance. Gifts have a separate allowance. The receiver normally pays these charges before or at delivery, together with a brokerage fee charged by the courier for handling the clearance.
Canada is strict about food, plants, seeds and animal products. Commercially packed foods are sometimes accepted, but meat, dairy, fresh produce and homemade food are not. Declare everything honestly: undeclared food can lead to fines for the receiver.
